Position: This reporter will produce deeply reported journalism on environmental issues, ecology and conservation – and the political economy in which studies of and work on these activities are located. The reporter will need to track developments on these topics from sources around the country, including conservation workers, forest officers and researchers, without also overlooking the people who are often affected by wildlife and/or forest protection activities. The reporter should ultimately produce stories, both short and long and on a regular basis, that chart India's shifting relationship with its natural riches and hold the government accountable, in the context of climate internationalism, 'development' and green power.
