Atlatszo

Átlátszó is the first Hungarian investigative journalism nonprofit and a watchdog NGO to promote transparency, accountability, and freedom of information in Hungary. Established in 2011, atlatszo.hu – “atlatszo” means transparent in Hungarian – produces investigative reports, accepts information from whistleblowers, files freedom of information requests, and commences freedom of information lawsuits in cases where its requests are refused. Atlatszo.hu is a member of the Global Investigative Journalism Network and has won multiple international awards for their work.

Position: Location: Hungary (Budapest) Beat: Education Position: Átlátszó is looking for a full-time investigative journalist with zero to a few years of experience, who is interested in researching and publishing investigative articles on the Hungarian education system, from public education to higher education. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in journalism or a related field, be able to communicate in both Hungarian and English, and be a reliable team player.
