Conexión Migrante is a digital media company that offers information and services to migrants and to the Latin American migrants living in the United States and their families in their countries of origin. Born in 2016, Conexión Migrante’s objective is to become a bridge between countries and a point of support so migrants participation in their communities is more efficient and transparent.

Conexión Migrante does service and solutions journalism, offering informational tools and personalized advice to the migrants who need it.

Position: Location: Mexico (Tijuana/Southern California) Beat: Migration Position: Conexión Migrante is looking for a reporter to create service journalism stories and multimedia content, as well as carry out investigative reports on the Mexican and Latin American immigrant community, particularly women, on both sides of the northern border of Mexico. The selected journalist ideally should have at least two years experience on migration or gender issues, have a valid U.S. passport or visa and be fluent both in Spanish and English.
