((o))eco is a non-profit journalism organization founded in 2004 to document the challenges, setbacks and advances of issues related to nature conservation, biodiversity and environmental policy in Brazil. Considered one of the largest environmental vehicles in Brazil, ((o))eco provides an important service to society by communicating nature conservation efforts in the six Brazilian biomes, raising awareness and channeling information to large urban centers and to political and decision makers.

The journalist is expected to cover subjects such as, but not restricted to, wildlife trafficking and illegal logging, scientific research on biodiversity hotspots and protected areas, renewable energies and sustainable futures, and other topics connected to those subjects.
